Hogsnes Health Centre – select materials create a homely environment

In Tønsberg's largest construction project ever, Hogsnes Health Centre, Vyrk has contributed with material solutions that unite aesthetics, function and care.

For this modern healthcare building, Vyrk has supplied veneered panels of white-pigmented oak, which create a bright and homely atmosphere in line with the architects' vision.

Several of the panels are specially adapted with milled artwork and pictures, which add personality and character to the rooms. Vyrk has also supplied slatted elements mounted in front of glass walls, which both screen, soften and give the interior a complete, modern feel.

Hogsnes Health Centre houses 120 residents with the aim of creating community, safety and well-being for residents, employees and visitors. In collaboration with the project partners, Vyrk has helped to shape a building where people are at the centre, with well-thought-out material choices in every detail.
