Oslo Airport Gardermoen – micro-perforated aesthetics and acoustics

In connection with the expansion of Gardermoen Non-Schengen East, Vyrk has supplied micro-perforated walls and ceilings, a solution that combines the requirements for both aesthetics and acoustics.

The fully-veneered panels provide a modern and exclusive look, while maintaining the acoustic benefits of conventional perforation – which is essential in a busy and large terminal area.

The fully-veneered sheets with micro-perforation achieve the same acoustic effect as standard perforation, while providing a more homogeneous surface. This material system has been developed specifically for areas with high public traffic where both durability and aesthetics must be maintained.

In collaboration with AF Gruppen, Vyrk has contributed to the new terminal area where material quality and technical solutions combine to create a beautiful and functional travel environment.
