In the heart of Gjøvik city centre, Ø.M. Fjeld has carried out an extensive refurbishment and rebuild of Øvre Torvgate.
This 5,800-square-metre project includes both an upgrade of the existing buildings and a new extension that connects two existing buildings.
For this project, Vyrk has supplied UV-lacquered veneer panels with oak veneer for both ceilings and walls, which gives a bright and exclusive look. Vyrk fire-grade products are used in ceilings, slats on walls and perforated panels to combine aesthetics, safety and good acoustics.
In collaboration with Ø.M. Fjeld and Tøftum Innredning, Vyrk has contributed to creating modern and functional premises for, among others, Gjøvik Cultural School and newspaper Oppland Arbeiderblad.
