  • Våler Church – modern architecture and natural materials

Våler Church is one of Norway's most unique churches and an important landmark in Hedmark.

Completed in 2015, the church was erected after the original wooden church burned down in 2009. With its characteristic triangle shape and tall wooden construction, it has gained international attention for its innovative design.

For this distinctive church, we have supplied birch plywood, veneered with peeled birch – a material that provides a bright, warm and timeless feel. The veneer highlights the natural expression of the wood and harmonizes perfectly with the church's architecture and atmospheric space. The choice of materials supports both the building's visual identity and the desire for a calm, dignified church space.
