Vyrk Antibrann – Fireproof panels where safety meets design

Fire-resistant materials have traditionally been associated with industrial surfaces and limited design freedom. Vyrk Antibrann changes this by offering fire-resistant boards with a lifelike veneer surface, which unites fire safety with aesthetic qualities.

These panels have a core of 12.5 mm fibre-reinforced plaster with no harmful substances, and do not burn or emit toxic fumes. At the same time, they empower architects and interior designers to create beautiful spaces that meet strict safety requirements.

Technical properties and fire classification A2-s1,d0

At Vyrk, we supply panels that meet fire safety requirements up to A2-s1,d0 – one of the strictest classifications in Europe. This provides increased safety in projects with high security demands. We are among the very first manufacturers in Norway to offer panels in this class, and one of the few in the country that actually delivers this today.

The panels can be integrated into a variety of spaces – from public buildings with strict safety requirements to private projects where safety is combined with aesthetic ambitions.

Acoustic functionality through perforation

Vyrk Antibrann can be supplied in a number of different perforation patterns based on a given distance between the rows. The panels can bedelivered with or without an acoustic cover.

Perforated panels with fire-retardant properties

Perforated panels can be supplied as Vyrk Antibrann with fire-retardant properties that meet strict requirements:

For Vyrk Antibrann with a panel format of 1200×600 mm, you can choose between several perforation degrees.

The perforation degree determines the panel's ability to absorb sound at different frequencies. By using acoustic fabric and mineral wool behind the panels, optimal regulation of the reverberation time is achieved.
