Trysil Interiørtre og Vyrk AS has been through a merger process, and will from 01.07.21 function as a legal entity. Through this merger, the production units are brought together under one and the same name, and a joint management to further strengthen the investment.

Vyrk acquired Trysil Interiørtre in December 2018, and the latter has for a long time profiled itself under the brand name Vyrk.

Vyrk AS now consists of three production departments in Innlandet. A department with glass wall production at Stange, a production line for surface treatment of cladding, panels and moldings in Valdres, and a factory in Trysil which is among Norway’s leaders in the production of linear rib element and veneered panel. In recent years, several million have been invested in new machines and digitization to streamline production in the years to come, and the growth ambitions are great.

Vyrk has now taken another developing and motivating step to achieve the owners’ goals, and the merger means that we are stronger together in the face of the challenges that come with great growth, says general manager Ole Peter Tangnæs.

Vyrk has more than 50 employees, and has a goal of reaching NOK 110 million in turnover during 2021. According to Vyrk, one of the goals of this merger has been to create an even stronger foundation and at the same time ensure good future growth opportunities in the market.

These are exciting times we are entering, with the merger of the three companies, we are now a complete supplier that can solve most of the challenges for our customers. We can deliver our products together to a construction site, and this will be a great advantage for our customers, says largest owner and founder Steinar Lyseng.
